Four Truths and a Lie:

      1. Whoa Dough bars contain approximately 8 grams of sugar.

      2. Whoa Dough was created with the purpose of catering to those with gluten allergies.

      3. Whoa Dough was launched in the summer of 2019.

So, have you found the lie? Is that your final answer? Need to phone a friend? No time! Let’s get right to the facts.

The answers:

      1. Whoa Dough bars contain approximately 8 grams of sugar.

TRUTH. With only about 8 grams of sugar, Whoa Dough bars are the perfect healthy snack to chow down on for breakfast, take with you on the road, pack in your lunchbox, or bring with you to the gym for an energy boost—the possibilities are endless! We wanted our bars to emulate the sweet taste of traditional cookie dough, but without the heavy sugar intake. That’s why our cookie dough bars contain natural sweeteners like honey and maple syrup!

      2. Whoa Dough was created with the purpose of catering to those with gluten allergies.

TRUTH. Our founder, Todd Goldstein, was diagnosed with a gluten intolerance in 2011 and has been on a mission to create a gluten-free snack ever since. Years after this diagnosis, Goldstein became the father of two young boys who were born with the same gluten intolerance, giving him all the more reason to seek out a solution to gluten-free eating. Goldstein was also motivated by his drive to create an on-the-go healthy snacking option that is not only good for you, but also tastes great. Thus, Whoa Dough was born!

      3. Whoa Dough was launched in the summer of 2019.

TRUTH. It might be hard to believe, but we are a brand new business! However, that doesn’t mean our quest to create the perfect cookie dough bar only began a few months ago. Goldstein and his team began developing Whoa Dough a year and a half before the company’s official launch date. That’s right—hours upon hours of research and recipe experimentation have been put into producing the cookie dough bar you know and love today. And you can bet that we’re still working to improve our product every single day!

      4. Whoa Dough bars are made with real egg, just like traditional cookie dough.

LIE. Though traditional cookie dough is delicious, eating product with raw egg is a serious health hazard which can lead to salmonella and food poisoning. That’s why our cookie dough bars are egg free and 100% safe to eat straight out of the wrapper! Not only are Whoa Dough bars made without raw egg, but they’re also dairy free. That means our lactose intolerant friends are safe to snack happy too!

      5. Whoa Dough bars come in five delicious flavors.

TRUTH. You guessed it! Our snack bars come in not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE mouth-watering cookie dough flavors. We offer classic chocolate chip for our traditional cookie dough lovers, sugar cookie for those who love the simpler things in life, sprinkle sugar cookie for those who crave a little extra excitement, peanut butter for our peanut butter lovers, and peanut butter chocolate chip for those who like the best of both worlds. With such a tasty variety of flavors, you can be sure to find the Whoa Dough bar that best suits your taste buds!

So, how did you do? Were you able to identify the lie? If so, congratulations! You are a certified Whoa Dough connoisseur. If we managed to stump you with this one, don’t fret—you’re still free to snack happy. Either way, we hope you learned a little bit more about who we are!
